Witchcraft and Wicca are they the same? No, they are not the same. Are they both spiritually dangerous? Yes, they are.
Witchcraft goes back to ancient times, as the author point out, and Wicca dates to the 1950’s. Witchcraft has many varieties that rise from diverse cultures and worldviews. Wicca is a modern nature-based religion founded by Gerald Gardner, and Englishman. Most “witches” today in the Western world, are followers of the Wiccan religion, per Kupelian’s journalistic research.
According to the description of Wicca, written by Wiccans themselves, they worship “Nature, often personified as Mother Earth and Father Sky.” According to Wiccan’s themselves, it is not about worshipping Satan. They state, “It is very important to be aware that Wiccans do not in any way worship or believe in “Satan,” “the Devil,” or any similar entities.” Their view of Satan is simply that, “”Satan” is a symbol of rebellion against and inversion of the Christian and Jewish traditions.” They are indifferent to the Bible. Their practice of magic involves “direction and use of “psychic energy.” “Wiccans employ such means as dance, chant, creative visualization, and hypnosis to focus and direct psychic energy for the purpose of healing, protection, and aiding member in various endeavors.” The “Wiccan Rede” prohibits witches from harming others. Again, all of this information comes from their own description of their religion.
The idea that the Country of The United States of American would recognize witches, Wiccans, as a legitimate religion tells me what pathetic condition the government of this country is in. Yes, we are still the greatest country on earth, in my view, but we have deteriorated to a horrible degree. The idea that our government recognizes such practices as religion is proof, to me, of that deterioration.
The New Testament makes it clear that witchcraft in any form is a sin. “Galatians 5:19–21 (KJV-AV)
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
As the author notes, it is not difficult to understand why people think an invisible spirit can help them with their bad luck and bring blessings to their lives in the form of health, happiness and prosperity. They believe this because it is the truth. There is such a God who does this for His people, the ONE TRUE GOD, Jesus the Christ, Jehovah God. The Almighty, is the REAL God, the all-powerful and all-knowing Creator of ALL of mankind (created in His image) and the sustainer of the universe, everything in the universe – including you, including me.
We are created in God image for His purpose. He has instilled in us a desire to seek His influence in our lives, as the author accurately notes. Either we submit to that inner desire and discover Christ – followed by submitting to His inner leading in all things, or we live pointless, deceived, and ultimately wasted lives.
I will leave off here, and start the next piece with, a direct quote from Kupelian as found in chapter six. “Here is the problem. If for any reason we’re not ready or willing to submit to God – a state of honest transparency that tends to annihilate our selfish pride and bring us the blessing of genuine happiness, contentment, and understanding – then by default we find ourselves attracted to false gods. That is, to worldviews and weird religions that fill our spiritual void while also sustaining our secret rebellion against our Heavenly Father. And for many Americans today, that means New Age or pagan religion.”

How Evil Works
Evil can be understood and overcome before it transforms our country entirely. Evil can be understood and overcome before it transforms someone you know or even you. Knowledge is power and without it we will perish. We need to be extremely knowledgeable when it comes to evil.

Because you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children.
The Marketing of Evil
Evil is sold in our society just as anything else might be sold, through marketing. Satan has marketed his product through those willing and those ignorant to his schemes. Through his craftiness he has turned the minds of even Believers to think that tolerance of his evil is some form of love. In so doing he has transformed to a large degree the once Devout Church and transformed our society to an enormous degree. He has not accomplished this without his workers however, the willing, the sold out for their own gain, and the ignorant masses following blindly behind the majority.
