In relation to the persecution of the Church in America.
I was informed this past week by a grandmother in Oklahoma that her grandson, six years old, is being suspended from school for telling his classmates that Jesus healed his ears. The little boy had been enduring for some period of time the need to have tubes within his ears to aid his hearing. At his last doctor’s appointment the doctor told him he would no longer need the tubes. When the six-year-old little boy went back to school, he told many of his classmates about how Jesus had healed his ears. Now he is going to be suspended for, ‘Talking about Jesus at school.’ The issue seems very much attached to the fact this little boy was talking about Jesus and not a generic god by using the term God.
Two points on this matter:
1 – The hate for the name of Jesus is so intense in this country now that they would persecute a six-year-old boy. Does the Body of Christ realize what that means for them and where we are going as a country?
2 – Where are the Christians to help this boy? When I got the report, it was presented as nothing was being done. What will happen to this little boys faith if no one steps up to protect him and stand by his side for what he believes? Not saying he will, but he could be spiritually damaged severely.
Point being… Christians must be there for Christians. We need unity, where unity is based on a true dedication to Jesus and the Word of God. Without unity, without support, without being there for each other when persecution comes, we will see, many cave and crumble under the weight of persecution from the Jesus haters.
Spiritual/Political Disclaimer:
This blog will not be for the faint of heart or the easily offended. It will not be in any way politically correct. It will make every effort to share the truth in love, [Ephesians 4:11-16], to a decaying and dying society and church. I share what I share not to hurt, harm, or offend any person[s] or group; I do it because Christ’s Standard and Truth is not being represented by enough of His Followers and I do it out of love. I love enough to tell His Truth.
Ephesians 4:11-16 NKJV
11And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
